After untacking Rocky, I found Allie in the aisle, finishing up with Kiki. "Hey Allie. Are we still on for that tack cleaning party?" I asked...

I smiled at Kelsey and said sure. We decided to go out and clean tack by the pastures in the back. Prince was in one and Zen was in the right next to that...there was however a big gap seperating the pastures. I grabbed my tack and we started to walk out towards the pastures...

It was very different, cleaning tack outside the pastures, but it was nice. We would both get to see our horses. I was fumbling along, carrying my saddle, girth, bridle, martingale, running martingale, and my bucket with my tack cleaning stuff in it, and a saddle rack. I saw that Allie was carrying a heavy load too. We decided to stop right between the 2 pastures. I set up my saddle stand and placed my saddle on it. I just threw the other stuff on the ground. I pulled my Leather New Foam and a tack sponge out of my bucket. "Do you need any stuff, Allie? I have plenty of it"...

"Can I use you cleaner? I just got this awesome new conditioner though...you can use some if you want....its great!" We settled down. I placed my saddle rack up too, and started to dilegently clean my saddle. I always checked the girth straps carefully when I cleaned, just to make sure that they're ok. Suddenly Zen started neighing furioiusly and galloping up the line of the pasture. Prince started to freak out too. What was goining on?- Kelsey and I looked at each other...

I looked at Allie and then at the two horses. I gazed around, wondering what the heck could they be excited by? Then I saw a trailer unloading a horse, but not just any old horse, a MARE! "Oh look, a new girl..." i said to allie ", and she has a gorgeous horse! A mare. That must be why Zen and Prince are freaking out. Want to go introduce ourselves? Our tack won't go anywhere..."

We walked over to the girl who introduced herself as Kate. Her gorgeous mare was being brought to the stable to be bred to one of the studs. All Kelsey and I could do was stand in awe. What a horse. She was going to be training the foal to be a jumper. We decided to all get together later for a snack at the barns picnic stables. Kelsey and I grinned as we walked back to our stallions...

"wow! how lucky would we be if one of our stallys was bred with that beautiful mare?!" i exclaimed. Allie shook her head in agreement. We were too anxious to see what horse was the lucky stud, that we barley cleaned our tack, not until it shined like we usually did. We gathered up all of our stuff and headed back to the barn. We quickly dumped our stuff in the tack room and went to find that girl, Kate was her name, and ask her. I finally spotted her in one of the wash stalls with her mare. "Allie, shes over here!" i called. "Hello, again, by the way, you never told us what your mare's name was" i said. "O, Im sorry, her name is Delilah. Shes a pure bred Thoroughbred. After her racing career, she was retired to a broodmare. So, here we are!" the outgoing girl explained her horse's life story. Allie chimed in, "Do you know who she is going to be bred with?" Kate shook her head "Yea i do, its some show jumping stallion, Frequent Flyer, i believe. Do anyone of you know him?" I was sooo happy! "Know him, Flyer is MY horse!!!!!!" i said excited. "Well then, i guess ill see you around, and Ill see you," she motioned to me, "in the breeding barn tomorrow! Seeya then" And we left it at that...
